A second Volunteer Work Day will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9am until around 2:30pm. We will continue the work started August 23, 2025. A good start that day included cleaning the main steps and cutting back overgrowth from a large part of the cook-out area.

All are invited to participate and help with cleaning back overgrowth that has occurred over the years to the former cook-out area and the trails along the upper side of the road leading down to the basketball courts. You are also invited if you simply want to stop by and see what are doing.
At around noon we will break for lunch and you are invited to join us to learn more about how residents of Sheraden and City Council District 2 can create A Better Pittsburgh starting right where you live. We will be discussing the Community Advisory Team (CAT) process with which you can participate in a manner that suits you. You can learn more at CommunityAdvisory.Team.
If you think you might want to help out or maybe only just stop by for the lunch discussion around noon, if possible, it helps if you can let us know beforehand.
